It had to happen...

Unfortunately we've just received the news that, if I'm honest, we had been expecting - our trip to play at Sarkfest has been cancelled due to the uncertainties still surrounding Covid. Yes, it is very disappointing but realistically it's probably the best decision at the moment, but on the plus side we're already in negotiations for next year...

The festival itself hasn't been cancelled, but it will only feature Guernsey Bailiwick bands and artistes. Guernsey is planning to lift restrictions completely on July 1st, but this is only likely to be confirmed the week before. Even then it is not clear if Sark will follow that lead. As Sarkfest is only 9 days later it will be too late for the organisers to make other plans should there be any delay (or quarantine restrictions) and at the moment it is not even possible to book suitable travel.
